Two of the Vancouver goals came on the powerplay as the Canucks did a
good job in keeping out of the penalty box for the most part, but they found
themselves behind by a couple goals at the end.

General Motors Place (Vancouver, BC) FINAL:
Canucks 5 - Bruins 2 : Canucks goalie Alex Auld had a good
night making 25 saves while the Bruins goalie Hannu Toivonen made 34 saves.
Face offs were fairly even at 35-34 wins in favor of Boston. Brendan
Morrison broke the tie while the Canucks went on to score a couple more for
the win.

period, Andrej Meszaros for Ottawa to tie the game (unassisted).

York, NY, USA) FINAL: Canucks 3 - Rangers 2 :
First period, no scoring. Todd Bertuzzi had a breakaway goal in the
second period, even though he found himself in penalty trouble after coming
to teammate Markus Naslund's defense, getting into a fight with Ryan Hollweg.
Petr Prucha scored twice in the game for the Rangers. Third period
Canuck goals were scored by Daniel Sedin and the game winner by Matt Cooke
(unassisted). Mattias Ohlund had two assists for Vancouver. Each
team had 5 Power Plays, while the Shots On Goal were 36-31 in favor of the
New York Rangers.

(Philadelphia, PA, USA) FINAL: Canucks 5 -
Flyers 4 :
In a back and forth game, Markus Naslund tied the game at 3-3 when
his shot hit off a defenseman's skate in the crease and went in past goalie
Robert Esche. Anson Carter scored just 37 seconds later after a
Flyers' giveaway. Goalie Esche was pulled a few minutes later with a
groin injury, then Anson Carter scored the game winner on his first shot
against goalie Antero Niittimaki, making it 5-3. Sami Kapanen scored
for the Flyers to make it 5-4 with less than two minutes to go, but the
Canucks' lead held up for the win.
